When Matt Weiner isn’t hacking into embodied minds with Featureless Ghost, he gets murky, bombarding himself into a vigorous pit of dooming bass lines and twangy guitars.
Post-punk is what the man has been indulging lately – a source of inspiration that definitely takes Twins to another zone. But don’t you nostalgia freaks worry: the spacious synths and droning drum rhythms are still at a similar place as before, and the same can be said about his raving, but carefully balanced voice. Matters got a little more rugged, and we like that.
Hush Hush is one of the gritty tracks that are making up half of a split 12” with Os Ovni. The LP will be out soon through Clan Destine Records, as well as a video to this demolishing track…
