Memory jacking.

Starting out as an OST to your beloved ‘90s videogames – especially to one of those criminal-infested nightclub levels – Dead Fingers feasts on treacherous bass lines and jacking house drums. Like always, these scenes escalate pretty swiftly, evolving those computerized lounges into a shootout after everyone turned on each other. That’s where the track becomes more like a cyberpunk movie from the early ‘00s – imagine the blood shower sequence of Blade, with the cutoff frequency being the vampire slayer’s weapon of choice.

But enough with the silly comparisons; Oakland based Michael Buchanan is the man behind the Identity Theft moniker. Under this name, he creates deep and slimy jams that are entirely made with analog equipment. There are already a few releases to be found on here, but we’re obviously looking forward to hearing more…
