Water Borders: Each Dream Is A Scheme

Dark desires.

When the muddy, dance-tinged pop jams of Water Borders first surfaced in 2010, we we’re mind-blown to say the least. Even with the overload of last year’s musical bleakness, their debut LP on Tri Angle Records was still one of the few that made it to our last year’s favorites. A couple of months after this terror, the San Francisco/New York based duo is back to deliver another payload.

Listening to this first preview of Each Dream Is A Scheme, it’s clear that the men are still doing what they do best; forging pure dark matter. We’re looking at another mangled plunge into bouncy bass swamps, tribal percussion, and lugubrious howls that are as black as the night. The album will consist of three tracks, and according to Tundra Dubs – who will release the EP – it’s best listened to in one continuous mix. You’ll be glad to abide…

The EP will be released digitally on September 11.
